TELECOM TESTING SAMPLE REQUIREMENTS

Roles and responsibility for Telecom Testing jobs in Bangalore:

• Good Knowledge on GSM Network Architecture and Call Flows.
• Very good testing knowledge in SNMP; tested SNMP Alarms generation using Visual MIB Browser in different scenarios: application startup/shutdown, exceeding of threshold limits, exceeding of disk usage and in case of application abrupt behavior.
• Good knowledge of protocols such as Mobile Application Protocol (MAP), SMPP, SNMP, SMTP, Diameter & Radius protocols.
• Having proficiency in automation using Shell Scripting and fair knowledge on Perl, Python scripting languages.
• Trouble shooting of Failure scenarios and other issues using Protocol Analyzers such as Ethereal, Wire shark & TCP Dump Packet Analyzer.
• Extensively used defect tracking tools like Quality Center, Clear Quest, and Bugzilla.
• Extensively used testing tools such as Selenium Simulator, Mobile Message Tester for SMPP, MGTS, X-lite, and SJ Phone.
• Effective Effort Estimation for Testing Activities and Efficiency in handling entire project through all the phases.
• Sound understanding of Quality Processes and Performance Bench marking.
• Writing and Execution of System test plans, Acceptance Test Plans; Execution of performance and load scenarios.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements for Telecom Testing jobs in Bangalore:

System Test Engineer (Senior Test Engineer / Test Engineer)

Experience : 3 to 6 years in System Testing (Telecom Domain)
